Since 1944, when the then Acesita was founded, the development of Timóteo is confused with that of the Company. Assuming at first the role of a protagonist in the town that embraced it in the 40s, the Company today, by means of the Foundation, sees in the strengthening of organizations and entities the opportunity for promoting entrepreneurship, sustainability and development of the region. Therefore, it acts in partnership with a number of local segments, fostering community initiatives and social projects in such a way to render them self-sustainable.
With that principle, the Foundation works with three major programs:
