Cultural Centre

The Cultural Centre of Aperam Acesita Foundation was opened on October 31th 1994, in the old Guest House of the then Acesita. The premises, built in the 50s, was fully adjusted for the new purpose, having 2500 m² of constructed area. The building houses the Company’s museum, exhibition hall, theatre, rooms for training courses and workshops, as well as gardens and a large open area of woods, where various events are put on, such as Arte Viva Festival.

Through creation of the Cultural Centre, Aperam Acesita Foundation provided the population of Vale do Aço with access to all kinds of cultural manifestations. The institution keeps a permanent program of cultural activities which values local artists and that also give room to performances with artists of national prominence. Guided visits to the exhibitions and to Aperam museum are also part of the portfolio of activities developed at the Cultural Centre.
