Aperam South America

Founded in 1944 under the name of ACESITA, Aperam South America is an integrated producer of Flat Stainless and Electrical Steels, yet also producing Flat Specialty Carbon Steels. Having more than 2 thousand employees, the Company has an installed annual capacity for production of 900 thousand tons of liquid steel. Its industrial plant counts on two blast furnaces using only charcoal which, being a renewable form of energy, prevents the emission of 700 thousand tons of CO2 to the atmosphere.
