Stainless steel is in the heart of our brand name, being taken as inspiration for the creation of our logo – construction of each character is done from a continuous stainless steel strip. Stainless steel is literally in everything we say, and we make our logo our only typographical face, our palette of colours and images.
Our slogan conveys the important role that stainless steel plays in our daily lives. It also communicates the incredible physical qualities of stainless steel, which literally lasts a lifetime. We should all be proud of what we do, with our slogan transmitting this idea to the people.

Ships in constant contact with seawater need to be made using stainless steel in order to fight oxidation. Aperam is the official supplier of stainless steel for the Kat Eastern Sailing Expedition, the latest adventure of the Shurmann family.
Used in exhaust systems (popularly known as exhaust pipes) an disk breaks, stainless steel features reduced thickness and weight of materials, ensuring greater durability and mechanical resistance.
There are countless advantages to using stainless steel tubing: educed thickness, easy to clean, lower maintenance cost, smooth finish, and a greater area of heat transfer inside.
Stainless steel is the ideal raw material for building surgery centers and other environments where avoiding the spread of bacteria is of the utmost importance. Stainless is excellent for the health of patients due being hypoallergenic, inert (which prevents contamination of the product with other substances), and easy to clean.
With stainless steel, restaurants are becoming more and more professional, offering absolute hygiene, food safety, and guaranteed quality.
Supplier of stainless steel for the production of 50-cent coins and the center portion of the 1-real coin, Aperam meets the high mint mark requirements.

“We hear people say that no one should be worried about retirement, and that retirement is something that comes later on. I disagree. For me, retirement is something that you should start thinking about on your first work day, in spite of working for yourself or for a company. You have to think that at some point you are going to have to hand your position over to someone else”, Leonam Almeida – 35 year with Aperam (he retired in 2013).
We believe in synergy and in the collective force arising out of the meeting of different generations. Therefore, in 2015 we started some encounters for listening to the employees belonging to all generations that make up Aperam. During these encounters, the pride of belonging to Aperam and the desire to build a promising future, with synergy and exchange of knowledge among the generations, that’s the emphasis.
“The encounter was enriching both professionally and personally, as the sharing of experiences enables us to have a vision on how to deal and live with the different generations, absorbing the best of each of them for our growth and converting it into positive results”, Wellington Wagner Santos Oliveira, supervisor at Aperam South America.
Aperam’s remuneration policy is based on individual merit and performance from each employee.
